Ministry in the Midst of the Heat: God’s Faithfulness in April

“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” – Psalm 100:5

Even in the intense summer heat of April in the Philippines—when illness and hardship are common—God has proven faithful once again. We give thanks to the Lord for sustaining our team, and for the continued support of the JIR Foundation, whose encouragement strengthens both our hands and hearts in ministry.

Celebrating Growth and Discipleship

We celebrated a joyful milestone as one of our Sunday School students graduated from Grade 6. During a recent service, the children shared a special song to bless the congregation, and afterward, we treated them to Jollibee as a small gesture of appreciation for their faith and effort.

Though Sunday School took a short break after Holy Week, many children continued joining us in our worship services—a testament to their growing desire for the Word and fellowship.

Evangelism and the Need for Greater Reach

Ministry continues in the barangays through visitation, gospel sharing, and tract distribution. We rejoice in a recent breakthrough: a family of six joined our church and received the Lord Jesus as their Savior. What a joy to see lives changed and hearts opened to the gospel.

We also thank God for a new set of tracts—generously provided by a friend who shares our passion for street preaching. These resources will help us share the message of salvation with more people on the streets and in the surrounding communities.

As we look to expand our reach, please pray with us for a larger vehicle that can help us travel to remote areas—so more can hear the Good News and attend church services.

To the JIR Foundation: thank you for your unwavering support. Your generosity and prayers make this ministry possible. May the Lord bless you richly for the great work you do for His kingdom.

In Christ,
Pastor Jarvis O. Jupio
