Nourishing Bodies and Souls: Feeding Program Reaches Over 150 in the Philippines

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” – Matthew 25:35

In a recent outreach, Pastor Mario and his dedicated team organized a feeding program serving over 150 individuals in their local community. While the meals met immediate physical needs, they also served as a bridge to share the gospel of Jesus Christ—the true Bread of Life.

Addressing Hunger to Open Doors for Hope

As hunger and poverty continue to impact countless families, meeting basic needs like food helps break down barriers and build trust. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, approximately 44.1% of the Filipino population—around 51 million people—experienced moderate or severe food insecurity from 2021 to 2023¹. For many, even a single meal brings relief—and the opportunity to receive something far greater.

For ministries like this, a warm meal becomes a tangible expression of God’s love—and an invitation to hear about His eternal grace.

Pastor Mario shared, “Praise God for the sharing of the gospel. It is our prayer that the Word of God shared during the outreach will lead many to a personal relationship with Christ.”

Praying for Eternal Impact

With every plate served, seeds were planted. As follow-up efforts and relationships continue, the hope is that many will come to know Christ and grow in discipleship. Please join us in praying for genuine spiritual fruit to come from this outreach.

Thank you for standing with us in mission. Your prayers and support make moments like these possible—where physical help meets eternal hope.
